Vivo X Fold, X Note Launched With Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC;

Vivo X Fold and X Note were launched in China on Monday. While the Vivo X Note is the company’s first foldable phone, the Vivo X Note is a new premium model with a 7-inch display. Both the phones come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and carry quad rear cameras with Zeiss optics. Along with Vivo X Fold and X Note, the Chinese company unveiled Vivo Pad as its first Android tablet. The Vivo Pad features a 120Hz display and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 SoC.

The Vivo X Fold has been priced at CNY 8,999 (approximately Rs 1,07,200) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The foldable phone also comes in 12GB + 512GB model which is priced at CNY 9,999 (approximately Rs 1,19,100). On the other hand, the Vivo X Note price starts at CNY 5,999 (approximately Rs. 71,400) for the 8GB + 256GB model. The phone also has a 12GB + 256GB option that costs CNY 6,499 (approximately Rs 77,400) and the top-end 12GB + 512GB model is CNY 6,999 (approximately Rs 83,400).

The Vivo Pad price starts at CNY 2,499 (approx Rs 29,800) for the 8GB + 128GB model and goes up to CNY 2,999 (approx Rs 35,700) for the 8GB + 256GB configuration. Vivo has also introduced a detachable keyboard for the Vivo Pad for CNY 599 (approximately Rs 7,100) and a stylus pen for CNY 349 (approximately Rs 4,200). There is also a magnetic cover that will be available for CNY 199 (approximately Rs. 2,400).

On the availability front, Vivo X Fold will be available for purchase in China from April 22, while Vivo X Note and Vivo Pad will be available from April 15. Under the hood, the Vivo X Fold comes with an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, coupled with Adreno 730 GPU and 12GB LPDDR5 RAM as standard.

The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. There is a quad rear camera setup which is similar to the Vivo X Fold. The phone also comes with the same 16-megapixel selfie camera that is available on the foldable phone.

The Vivo Pad runs on Android 12 with OriginOS HD and sports an 11-inch 2.5K display with 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10 support. Under the hood, the phone packs an octa-core Snapdragon 870 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The Vivo Pad comes with four-channel linear speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

In terms of optics, the Vivo Pad packs a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.2 lens and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide f/2.2 lens. There is also an 8-megapixel camera sensor on the front with facial recognition support.
