Malik, who was retained by the franchise ahead of the IPL auctions, has often been seen bowling at 150+ kmph. Vaughan feels that the youngster will soon make his international debut, and also urged the BCCI to send fast bowlers to play county cricket.

Vaughan tweeted, “Umran Malik will be playing for India very soon..If ​​I was @BCCI I would be sending him to play some county cricket this summer to help him develop first.”

SRH retained Umran for Rs 4 crore and has taken three wickets in four matches so far.
