February 28, 2019 – In an interview on CNN’s “New Day,” Santorum called President Donald Trump’s decision not to hold North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un responsible for Otto Warmbier’s death as “reprehensible.”
May 22, 2021 – A CNN spokesperson says the network has “parted ways” with Santorum after facing widespread condemnation for comments made about Native Americans.
