Bajaj Pulsar and Dominar brands boost overseas sales with impressive growth in 2021

Bajaj Auto Limited has reported sales of over 2.5 million vehicles in the calendar year 2021, registering a 30 per cent growth in exports over the previous year. Two-wheeler exports alone stood at over 2.2 million (2.2 million) units in calendar year 2021, while sales of three-wheelers and quadricycles grew by over 0.3 million (3 lakh) units. According to a statement by Bajaj Auto, the 125 cc plus segment of motorcycles contributed 41 per cent of the two-wheeler volume in calendar year 2021 led by the Bajaj Pulsar range of motorcycles, which achieved its highest ever export sales.

Bajaj Dominar sales grew by 49 per cent in 2021, due to strong response to the new Dominar 250 in overseas markets.

Bajaj Auto said in a statement that Pulsar continues to consolidate its leadership position in key countries across the world such as Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Guatemala, Peru, Turkey, Bangladesh, Nepal and Egypt. Dominar grew 49 percent last year due to a strong response to the new Dominar 250. Since its launch, the brand has become a leader in the 250-400 cc sports motorcycle segment in countries like Colombia, Argentina, Mexico, Guatemala and Turkey. Dominar 250.
