England on Tuesday recalled veteran bowler Stuart Broad as Jimmy Anderson’s partner for the fourth Test against Australia in Sydney, the only change in the squad that surrendered in the Ashes last week. The seamer comes in for Ollie Robinson, who has been rested for a clash after three heavy losses in Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne, with the Tourists playing for pride. Robinson is the only England bowler to have played all three Tests and was reportedly upset after his crush and 14-run loss in the third Test in Melbourne.

There was no change in the batting order with openers Haseeb Hameed and Zak Crowley both having scored just 68 runs in their second innings last week.

The Sydney Test starts on Wednesday.

England XI: Haseeb Hameed, Zak Crowley, David Malan, Joe Root, Ben Stokes, Jonny Bairstow, Jos Buttler, Mark Wood, Jack Leach, Stuart Broad, James Anderson
