Yogi Adityanath’s latest barb on Rahul Gandhi

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said Rahul Gandhi’s ancestors said he was “a Hindu by accident”.

Amethi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday hit out at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, saying the one who once used to kneel in a temple instead of cross-legged is now giving a lecture on the difference between Hindutva and Hindutva.

The Uttar Pradesh CM claimed that the Congress leader’s family has said in the past that they are “Hindu by accident”, apparently to a remark made by former PM Jawaharlal Nehru.

Addressing a public meeting in Jagdishpur after laying the foundation stone of a medical college, the CM claimed that the Congress leader was betrayed by a priest at a temple in Gujarat when he went there during the assembly elections and was on his knees. had sat down.

Yogi Adityanath claimed, “The priest there asked him to sit cross-legged saying this is a temple, not a mosque.”

Yogi Adityanath said, “Now those who don’t even have such ‘sanskar’, if they preach about Hinduism and Hindutva, it is lack of understanding.”

He said the Congress leader’s ancestors used to say that he was “a Hindu by accident”.

If so, then “what do they know about Hindu and Hindutva”, said Yogi Adityanath, attacking Rahul Gandhi, who in his recent speeches has tried to draw a line between the two words.

Yogi Adityanath also accused the Congress of doing politics of “disinformation”.

Yogi Adityanath said, “Those who have disintegration and division in their genes, whose families call themselves casual Hindus, they will never think for you but their compulsion is that people’s enthusiasm and faith make them bow down.”

Attacking Rahul Gandhi further, he claimed, “Whenever the former MP of Amethi is abroad, he speaks against India and when he is in Kerala, he speaks against Amethi and curses the people of Amethi. No one should be so selfish as to curse people. Hide your failure.” Yogi Adityanath alleged that the Gandhi family neglected Amethi for 50 years. He never thought about its development.

The CM said that today after 70 years of independence, his government has established a medical college here.

The Chief Minister said that the Government Medical College will have a 500-bed hospital, 100 MBBS seats, a hostel for 460 students and it will start functioning in 2022-23.

Yogi Adityanath also dedicated the 200 bedded District Referral Hospital at Tiloi constructed at a cost of Rs 86.42 crore to the people.

Apparently referring to Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Gandhi, he said the brother-sister duo “frauded” in the name of organizing buses to ferry migrants during the coronavirus lockdown in 2020.

He said that on enquiry, it was found that he had given the number of scooters instead of buses to transport people. Union Minister Smriti Irani, who defeated Rahul Gandhi from Amethi in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, said that she and her family kept Amethi in the dark.

“The hand (Congress symbol) grabbed the cycle (Samajwadi Party’s election symbol) and despised the dreams of Amethi by riding on a cycle and an elephant (BSP symbol),” he said.

He said that as soon as the elections came, brothers and sisters came to Jagdishpur and talked about Hindutva and Hindutva.

“I want to tell them that the real Hindu is the one who is building the Ram temple in Ayodhya,” Irani said.

He said that the family that ruled Amethi for 50 years is roaming in the state and talking about girls but they could not provide medical facilities to the sisters of Amethi.
