David Warner was dismissed for a pair in the 5th Ashes Test

David Warner was dismissed for a pair – the second in his Test career – on the second day of the ongoing fifth and final Ashes Test against England in Hobart. In the first over of Australia’s second innings, Warner made a wide Stuart Broad delivery in the air towards point area, where Ollie Pope flew to his right to take a superb catch. The Australian opener left with a smile on his face. Warner was dismissed for naught in 22 balls in Australia’s first innings by Ollie Robinson in this pink-ball day-night Test.

England had earlier dismissed Australia for 303 in the middle of the first session.

But he was unable to make his mark with the bat – his top scorer was Chris Woakes at number eight with 36.

Captain Pat Cummins was the pick of the Australian bowlers with 4-45. Mitchell Starc also took three wickets.
