In another tweet, Faulkner said he wants to bring international cricket back to Pakistan, adding that the treatment he has received from the PCB and PSL is “outrageous”.

He said, “It hurts to leave because I wanted to help bring back international cricket to Pakistan because there is a lot of young talent and the fans are amazing. But the treatment I have received from PCB and PSL is disrespectful. Sure you all understand my position,” he added in another tweet.

In response to Faulkner’s claims, the PCB said in a statement: “The PCB and Quetta Gladiators regret the false and misleading allegations made by Mr. James Faulkner and will soon issue a detailed statement on the matter.”

Faulkner has played six matches for the Gladiators in the current PSL 7, taking 6 wickets.
